Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing advice from Public Health, Dalhousie University will not be running fall 2020 sports programs (varsity or club teams). Because of this, the Dalhousie University Rowing Team will not be hosting an on-water season this fall.

On-water options for fall 2020:

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is operating a phased return to rowing plan, which allows local clubs to host on-water practices (within specific parameters). While Dalhousie Rowing will not take place on-water this fall, athletes are welcome to register at one of their local clubs.

If you are in the Halifax area, programs are currently operating at North Star, Mic Mac, and Halifax Rowing Club, and you can register for their on-water programs at any time.

Dryland training for fall 2020:

There will be indoor training programs available for Dal rowers on a weekly basis this fall. If you would like to receive these workouts, and other updates for fall 2020, please email dalrowing@gmail.com.

We are also hoping to have in-person sessions in the Dalplex Varsity weight room (pending approval) starting in September. If you are in Halifax and would like to participate in there in-person sessions, please email dalrowing@gmail.com.

For questions please contact dalrowing@gmail.com or Head Coach Erica Gagnon, at ericagagnon5@gmail.com.
