The purpose of the junior varsity program is to provide Dalhousie participants with an opportunity for fun and fitness. This program is intended for those looking to develop their skills, for those who do not have the time to commit to competitive varsity, and for those who are looking for more of a recreational program as opposed to a competitive one. The JV participants are still eligible to race as Dal for any regattas this season, however it is not mandatory to race. This program will train with the Adult Fitness Program at HRC, and athletes will be able to choose how many/how few sessions that they would like to attend each week depending on their schedules. JV is for those who have already completed a Novice program but who do not want to commit to and compete in the competitive varsity program.
