Niko MacLellan is in his first year coaching with the Tigers. Born and raised in Halifax, NS Niko is a familiar face to Dal. Arriving at Dal in 2010, Niko rowed four years as a varsity and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in BioChemistry in 2014. He hosts an impressive academic resume, he was awarded the University Medal in Biochem for highest GPA of honours students in his program in 2014 as well as earning CIS all-Canadian status four times. Before coming to Dal, Niko competed in Canada Games with Team Nova Scotia and has been competing and coaching with Halifax Rowing Club.
